A little bit of catching up today, so I was in the lake just after 6 for a 3k swim. Things are definitely improving, the temperature was 15 degrees and the sun was shining making the whole a great deal more pleasurable. I hit the 3k in around 58 minutes and so feel like I am getting back into the right times. This afternoon and very short bike on the way to a family birthday party (40 mins). Today’s biggest challenge was the 2hr run this evening. The weather was much warmer (70+) and for some reason the whole thing felt like very hard work and my times showed it. It didn’t help that I hadn’t fueled properly and had eaten (very poorly, chocolate cake and biscuits etc) an hour or so before running so I started out with a stitch type pain. I am ashamed to say that in the 2 hours I only covered 12.18 miles which isn’t great.
