So I have reached 2/3 through the training plan and today I celebrated with a visit to Janice the sports therapist for a massage. The next 10 weeks the training ramps up to peak at 20 hours per week from the current 16. Up until now the mid week sessions have been pretty straightforward but as you start to add in 90 minute sessions, then getting those in during a busy schedule becomes more of a challenge. Getting up at 5:30 rather that 6:00 makes quite a difference. Thank goodness the weather is good and the mornings are light, reaching this level of training mid winter would be a real challenge.
