I went down to the lake this morning, not scheduled for a swim but I figured that it would be good to try to catch up some of the lost sessions. It was very cold indeed. I managed 3k but came out barely able to walk, my feet were so cold. This afternoon I went out on the bike but was ill prepared for the weather. Overcast, with a cold wind and intermittent rain. The ride itself was fine 3hrs 30mins followed by a 30 minute run. I experimented with fuelling using M&S mini flapjacks. One every 20 minutes, a snickers after 2.5 hours a bottle of Lucozade and some water.
