A long day ahead with a client today that is planned to go well into the evening and so an early start at 5:45am for a 60 minute run. Another glorious morning and the run felt good. Nothing flash or fast, workmanlike hour covering just over 6 miles. I am wondering what my pace will be in the Ironman. Sub 10 minute miles would do the job very nicely and should land a sub 13hr for the total event as follows:
Swim 1hr10 mins
Trans 1 5 mins
Bike 7:00 hrs
Trans 2 5 mins
Run 4hrs 35mins
Total 12hrs 55 mins
So this is the goal .Maybe its naïve but it feels reachable and motivating.
