I biked in to work today so a good start. 22.5 miles 1hr 17 mins. It felt good to getting out and about. At lunchtime we (Ade, Ollie Natalie and I) headed out for a run. Natalie put us through us some interval training: this comprised 10 minute warm up, then 10 x 1 minute at fast pace (sustainable over 10 intervals) followed by a 1 minute slow jog, then cool down jog. It felt like a real work out and good to be doing something different that will affect my overall speed. It also was great to have someone else hold onto the process and to just do what I was instructed. Towards the end of the day I cycled to meet up with the family at a carnival in Jennies old home town, a 45 minute ride which felt just about right. Big thanks to Natts, Ollie and Ade for making the training very enjoyable today.
